We know just how important your Childs dental care is! The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends for your kiddo to be seen regularly by a board certified dentist to ensure your kids maintain a healthy oral health, they recommend seeing your pediatric dentist every six months for regular check ups! You can start bringing in your little ones as early as a year old or when their first tooth starts to erupt. If you are unsure of when you should come in, give us a call!

Sedation Dentistry:

Coming to the dentist can be a bit frightening to some which is why we offer several treatment options to make your kids experience smoother and more enjoyable:

• Nitrous (laughing gas) - The use of Nitrous Oxide and oxygen, inhaled through a mask is an effective treatment option that is gentle and helps reduce minimal anxiety. It helps reduce any discomfort that the patient may fear during the dental procedure. We have several scents that our patients can choose from such as bubble gum, cherry, strawberry or mint!

• Oral Sedation - This sedation option is the combination of two medications that our pediatric dentist mixes and then provides to the patient. The use of oral sedation is typically done for patients who have a higher anxiety level and need additional helps to have a more pleasant experience. If your pediatric dentist recommends this treatment office, additional instructions will be provided to you in order to have a successful appointment!

• General Anesthesia - For General Anesthesia, your child will be put to sleep completely. This is generally done for children that have an extensive treatment plan or need additional special care during treatment. Here at Floss is Boss Dentistry, we have an exceptional team that comes in to do our Anesthesia. They are experts in what they do and all of our providers have done extensive schooling to be able to provide the absolute best care. Should your child require General Anesthesia, they will be in great hands!

Sedation can sometimes sound scary but our expert professionals are here to help!
